A few days ago, my family and I decided to go for an outing. We did not know where to go so we had a vote on where to go. In the end, we could not decide so we just picked a random place and ended up at the zoo. For the trip, I brought my extremely cool cap along with me so I could show off to the public.
When we reached the zoo, it was very crowded and we queued for half an hour before getting our tickets. While my parents were queuing, my siblings and I wandered off in to the vast wilderness(joking, we just wandered off). Finally we entered the zoo. By that time, it was already lunchtime so we decided to go for lunch at a cafe.
The food at the cafe was very expensive, about four times the price of that in the hawker center. The owner of the cafe probably set the price so high to make some money. I bought the cheapest food, Nasi Lemak, which was still very expensive at about $8. I felt like it was a bomb in my pocket.
After lunch, we went to see the animals. There was a huge variety of animals, and all of them were equally smelly. I wonder how the zoo keepers could withstand the stench without a gas mask. It was worse than a 'Chemical Ali' attack. Back to the point, if I could recall, we saw tapirs and pigs and some other weird animals that I never knew of. What we saw was just animals doing their business. But still, it was enjoyable as we got to learn about all the animals and stuff.
Soon, the zoo was closing. So we had to leave the fun and educational trip. When we reached home, we all took turns to bathe as we all smelled funny. Next time for a family outing, I hope that we can go to a much more fun and bearable place.
